Senior Property Lawyer / Conveyancer – Dorking

Are you an experienced Property Lawyer looking for a long-term home with a well-established, independent high street firm?

We are working with a successful and growing law firm in Dorking that is looking to strengthen its conveyancing team following a sustained increase in workload.

This is a genuine opportunity to become an integral part of a small, friendly and established practice, with the autonomy to manage your own clients and matters and play a key role in the continued growth of the property department.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Property Lawyer with a broad range of experience across both residential and commercial property.

You will be trusted to manage your own caseload, provide high-quality legal advice and develop strong, lasting relationships with clients. The firm is particularly interested in someone who has an established client following or contacts they can develop over time.

The role would suit someone who enjoys the variety and client contact that comes with working in a smaller high street practice, rather than someone looking for a highly corporate or volume-driven environment.

What we're looking for

  • Around 5+ years PQE in property/conveyancing. 

  • Strong residential and commercial property experience.

  • Able to handle matters with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Excellent client care and communication skills.

  • Commercially minded with the ability to develop and retain client relationships.

  • Ideally an existing client following or established professional network.

  • A team player who enjoys working within a close-knit, local practice.

  • Someone looking for a long-term role and the opportunity to become an important part of the firm's future.
