  • Excellent package

My client is a leading commercial based law firm, and they have a great opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer, ideally with a minimum of 5 years PQE or equivalent, to join their experienced and forward-thinking Commercial law team.

The commercial team is one of the largest in the region and has won many awards, and it’s highly recognised for the work it does in Yorkshire, nationally and internationally, working with globally recognised clients, and on ground-breaking projects.

As a commercial specialist you will work across all areas of commercial law, including commercial contracts, technology, data protection, supply chain compliance and everything else that sit in between. You will be technically proficient and great at building and developing client relationships, and you’ll be working across a wide range of sectors, with clients of all sizes, from start-ups and SMEs, to multinational corporates.

The ideal candidate will have broad commercial experience and enjoy the breadth of the role, although I’m also interested in commercial lawyers who have carved out a niche for themselves, be it a specialism or sector.

To be considered you must have worked on large and high value projects, and have experience of business development, be motivated, a team player, commercially minded, calm under pressure and be able to work equally well autonomously and collaboratively.

The role is based in Leeds with the ability to work from home 2-3 days per week.

Benefits include:

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays & birthday off
Option to buy or sell holiday
Private Health scheme or Medical Cash Plan (depending on level)
Profit share scheme
Volunteer days
Pension and Life Assurance
Generous ‘family friendly leave’
An array of wellness benefits (including onsite yoga/pilates and mental health programmes)
A wide range of additional benefits such as Perkbox, reduced travel/parking charges and a cycle to work schemes with fully secure bike storage on-site

As a valued member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to join a number of clubs and committees that reflect your passions and interests, both in and out of work, whilst making friendships that last for life.
