The Role:

As a Risk & Compliance Assistant, you will play a key supporting role in ensuring the firm adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements. Working closely with senior compliance professionals, you will assist in maintaining effective risk management processes and promoting a culture of compliance across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the monitoring of compliance with SRA regulations and internal policies
  • Supporting file reviews and internal compliance audits
  • Carrying out AML, KYC, and client due diligence checks
  • Assisting with conflict checks and onboarding processes
  • Maintaining accurate compliance records and registers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a compliance, legal administration, or risk-based role within a law firm (preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
